Meet Celena

I am one of those people who is incomplete without horses — horses are in my bones and there is just no escaping it. I established Heartwood Horses after finally accepting that my passion for horses is absolutely incurable. Heartwood also allows me to talk at length about Celena & Gloryhorsemanship with like-minded people — and as an avid collector of horsemanship information, this is another aspect of my "job" that I just love.

I am dedicated to really enjoying my horses — and other people's horses — and keeping life fun and interesting, both for myself and for them.

I am as likely to be found with my horses exploring in the forests, swimming and jumping creeks as I am to be deeply focused in the arena. As a result, my horses are exposed to (and survive!) many different situations and have at least as much fun as I do. Using an integration of classical and natural training methods, I keep my horses interested, playful and soft while instilling the primary skills necessary for any horse to excel.
