Sky
Sky is a stunning grey 2002 16hh registered Quarter Horse mare. She is a talented jumper who's looking for someone who loves jumping as much as she does!
This is a lovely, sensitive mare who's had quite a bit of training. She moves wonderfully off the leg and rein, and even neck reins. She is a fantastic combination of athleticism and that great Quarter Horse mind; she is a real joy to work with. Celena has really fallen in love with this one!
Sky has spent time under saddle as a western trail horse, as well as with a jumper trainer before she came to us. She is confident out on the trails with other horses or by herself, and is used to being around cattle. She bathes, clips, trailers and is great with her feet.
We have free jumped Sky to about 3'6" and she was still jumping a foot over the rails. And she loves it! When trotting around the arena on a loose rein, she'll seek out the jumps and just keep jumping if you let her. She definitely knows what she'd like to do! Combine her eagerness and talent with automatic flying changes and agility, and this is one mare who will be incredible in hunter/jumper or eventing.
Because of her sensitive nature, Sky needs an experienced rider who is looking for a horse to really bond with. She is the type of mare who would go to the end of the world for someone who really gained her trust; she is truly a special gal!
