This spectacular 16.1 hh 9-year-old ISR Oldenburg/TB gelding wants to jump! With his incredible personality and athleticism, Loxton, otherwise known as Lex, is a true find. He is the horse you dream about - powerful and charismatic, but a real friend. He really is the sweetest horse we have ever met.
We really focus on buying and training athletic horses with awesome temperaments, and Lex is as good as they get! This horse is an angel - sweet and incredibly willing, but also very quick to learn. He is honest over fences, and has great ground manners to boot. He is a pleasure to ride, not only in the arena but also on the trails and roads, where he is calm and level-headed. He loves hops right into the horse trailer and is laid-back in new places. He is an elegant mover - he floats when he extends his trot - and is tight in front and careful behind over fences. With his looks and scope, he is the type that will do well in the hunter/jumper ring.
It is Lex's disposition that really makes him a keeper, though. He is solid gold; a genuinely nice guy, with nothing bad to say about anything. He is a gentleman with his feet and has lovely manners. During the day, we leave him loose in our barnyard to graze, and he comes out to meet anyone who pulls up, then follows them around.
